A Memorial Cross Case, C.1918 Archive R/203228 Sergeant (Wireless Operator/Air Gunner)Hardshelled design on the lid and base, black pebbled exterior on all six sides, the lid domed and bearing the King's crown within an ornate rule in gold coloured ink, inside lid in beige satin, the base incorporating a medal bed in beige felt, hinged along the rear edge, measuring 65 mm (w) x 83 mm (h) x 25. 5 mm (d), the lid sitting slightly askew versus the base, near extremely fine.
